Doris B. Hudspeth, 99, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away July 22, 2012, at her home. She was born in Sunset, Louisiana, on July 2, 1913, to the late Louis and Lucille Andrus Boudreau. She was a school teacher, having retired after teaching for 25 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., Msgr. Bennie Patillo celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Rosa, Louisiana. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon's Funeral Home in Nederland from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Doris is survived by her grandchildren, Kevin Hudspeth of Port Neches, James Hudspeth of Hampshire, Amy Wilson of Port Neches, and Tina Jackson of Nederland; daughter- in-law, Frankie Westlake; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grand- child. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen Hudspeth, Sr.; sons, Edward, Allen, Jr. and John Van Hudspeth; and daughter, Margaret Hudspeth.
