Dorothy Aileen Raybon, 91, of Tomball passed away on Tuesday September 10, 2013 at Grace Care Center at Northpointe in Tomball. Mrs. Raybon was born February 5, 1922 in Brookeland, Texas and was a lifelong resident of Beaumont. She was a public school art teacher at French High School in the 1950's and was awarded National Art Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Raybon was a member of The United Daughters of Confederacy, Daughters of Republic of Texas, and Daughters of The American Revolution. Surviving Dorothy are her grandson Rick Allen and wife Della of Shreveport, granddaughters Stacey Perrine and husband Brian of Tomball and Heather Rogers of Huntsville. Also surviving are eight great grandchildren Lenae Allen, David Allen, Janie Allen, Claire Allen, Grace Coscio, Gaby Coscio, Laine Dearman, Shelby Dibble, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 14, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
