Doyle Buzz McDonald, 74, of the Paxton Community, passed away, Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Collins officiating. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Swearingen Cemetery in Tyler County with military honors under the direction of Fort Polk US Army Base. Visitation will be Friday, February 8, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home. Buzz was born February 11, 1938 in Nederland to Jake Edward Carson McDonald and Elma Frances (Campbell) McDonald. He served in the US Army from 1956 and honorably discharged in 1958. He was a pipefitter in the Pipefitters Union, Local 195 where he retired after 30 years of service and was also a member of the union for 40 years. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Jake & Elma McDonald, Infant Son, Kevin McDonald, Brother, Harold Edward McDonald and Sister, Bobbie Jean Laughlin.
