1928-2015 Elaine Helen (Farm) Brandenburg claimed God's promise given to her in Baptism and passed through death into Eternal Life with her Savior on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. She lives in our precious memories, and because of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, Elaine lives today with our Lord. Elaine was born October 21, 1928, in Mankato, MN, to Arvid and Hildur Farm. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dr. John Thomas Brandenburg. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Jenifer (Tim) Mickan; her sons, John A. (Jeanne) Brandenburg, Jehf (Margaret) Brandenburg, and James (Tara) Brandenburg; grandchildren, Branden Mickan, Amanda Mickan, John B. (Sarah) Brandenburg, Allie Brandenburg, David P. Brandenburg, Emily Brandenburg, Jehf Tyler Brandenburg, Cody Brandenburg, Matthew Brandenburg, Amy Brandenburg, Jacob Brandenburg, and David J. Brandenburg; and several nephews, nieces, and godchildren. Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375 (281.351.7233). Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 20, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2711 Helena Ave., Nederland, TX 77627 (409.722.1609), with visitation to take place at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date in Mankato, MN. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Holy Cross Lutheran Preschool, or Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Texas (L.O.M.T.).
