Elizabeth Magers Funeral services for Elizabeth Magers, 89, of Kirbyville will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Elizabeth died December 10, 2012 in Kirbyville. A native of Naples, TX and a former resident of Dallas & Santa Fe, TX she had lived the past 20 years in Jasper. A loving wife and mother she enjoyed crafts and was an accomplished seamstress & crocheter. She loved birds and formerly raised parrots & cockatiels. Survivors include two daughters Linda Sue Musgrove of Vidor and Debra Lorene Tyler of Kirbyville; a sister Naomi Reed of Garland, TX; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; & one great great grandson. She was predeceased by her parents Wilce and Pearl Ballard, her husband of 47 years Edmond McLain Magers, and a daughter Dianne Alexander. Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
