1940 - 2016 Elizabeth Ann Miller Cook, 75, of Vidor, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016. A native of Southeast Texas, She lived in Vidor her entire adult life. She attended 'Cathedral in the Pines' church in Beaumont, where she had been a member for many years. Elizabeth was a natural leader and believed you should always follow the rules. She was a perfectionist and always gave 100% to any task given her. Crafts, Gardening and Cooking for others were her favorite pastimes. A Life-long member of the National Audubon Society, she dearly loved wild birds, nature and being outdoors. Elizabeth was an accomplished musician and seemed happiest when playing music with her two sisters. She loved Jesus with her whole heart and was always comfortable sharing her faith with others. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Patrick Cook; son, Patrick Kevin Cook; parents, Ben Miller and Ledonia Elizabeth Miller; siblings, JoAnne Miller and Larry Wayne Garrett. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Lynn Cook of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Shirley Ann Miller of Kountze and Benie Louise Miller of Port Arthur, also many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in the Chapel at 'Cathedral in the Pines' church in Beaumont, officiated by Pastor Randy Feldshau.
