1941 - 2015 #photopath# Elliot Paul Romero passed away, peacefully, Saturday, March 7, 2015, after enduring cancer and treatment repercussions. He was born February 10, 1941, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Walter and Wilda Romero. After working 25 years in area refineries and 17 years in industrial sales, he retired in 2003. At an early age, Elliot developed a love and great ability for sports. In middle school, he decided he wanted to participate in athletics in the Port Neches school district. There he especially excelled in football and was tagged with the nickname Moose. Elliot proudly graduated from PN-G - Class of '59. Music was another passion for Elliot, especially Rock-and-Roll. One of his favorite activities was burning CDs for family and friends. Exploring his Cajun culture and enjoying its wonderful cuisine brought him great joy. Elliot was extremely proud of his children and step-children and the fine adults they became. They gave him his treasured grandchildren - eight in all. His favorite moments were spent with them and watching their individual talents.
