1920 - 2014 Em Green, 94, of Beaumont, died Saturday, December 6, 2014, at her residence. A native of Vidor, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Beaumont in 2005. Em is a member of First United Methodist Church in Vidor and retired as a clerk from the US Post Office in Vidor, after 30 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home. Em was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Green; daughter, Jamie Estes; grandson, Glen Gray; granddaughter, Ashley Dollinger; 3 sisters; parents; and special friend, Jack Fugate. She is survived by her daughter, Gale Dollinger and husband, Jed of Beaumont, TX; 3 grandchildren, Tina Denton and husband, Rickey of Beaumont, TX, Mike Gray and wife, Lisa of Cleburne, TX, Jessica Lynn and husband, Matthew of Spring, TX; 5 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and special granddaughter, Tania Gray. A special thank you to her sitters, Barbara Culp, Dorothy Demary, Hula Moss and Millie Havard with A1 sitters.
