Estelle McDonald, 86, of Kountze, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012. She was born on August 24, 1926, in Port Neches, to Georgia Woolley Willis and Oliver Eugine Willis, and had been a resident of Kountze since 1933. Estelle was retired from Kountze Independent School District as a cafeteria worker and was a longtime member of Kountze Church of Christ. Survivors include her children, Robert Earl McDonald and his wife, Carol, of Kountze; Glenda Weatherford and her husband, Shelby, of Abilene; and Darlene Jennings and her husband, Dan, of Egewood; daughter-in-law, Kay McDonald of Longville, Louisiana; brother, Howard Willis of Lumberton; grandchildren, Kim McDonald, Stephanie Weatherford, Tres Weatherford, Koby Weatherford, Randall Jennings, Andrea Locke, Jo Ellen Gravis, Jessica Barry, Judy Landis, Kathy Martinka, Don McDonald, and Sterling McDonald; twenty six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters. Estelle is preceded in death by her husband, Donald McDonald; son, Larry McDonald; daughter, Judith Elaine McDonald; brother, Harold Willis; and sisters, Eloise Varnon, Jean Varnon, Joyce Knott, and Gerry Pace. A gathering of Mrs. McDonald's family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2012, at Kountze Church of Christ, 1035 North Pine Street, Kountze. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Kountze Church of Christ, with interment to follow at Hooks Cemetery, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard's, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
