Felix Leslie Stovall, 94, of Kirbyville, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 28, at Central Baptist Church in Kirbyville, with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. A native of Sabine Pass and a graduate of Sabine Pass High School, he had lived most of his life in Kirbyville. He was a retired Marine Engineer for Texaco. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hattie Holmes Stovall and a son, John Milton Stovall. He is survived by wife, Audrey Gonzales Stovall of Kirbyville; daughter, Dianna Caston and husband, Dr. C. B. Caston of Kirbyville; sons, Dr. Francis Hugh Stovall and wife, Sharon of Beaumont; Dr. Felix Russell Stovall and wife, Jeri of Beaumont; and Thomas Charles Stovall and wife, Vicky of Kingwood; step children, Ches and Elizabeth Gonzales of Lumberton; Mike Gonzales of Beaumont; Linda and James Loving of Chester; Wayne and Evelyn Gonzales of Beaumont; and Barry and Barbara Spoonemore of Beaumont; 15 grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 11 step great grandchildren. The family extends a special note of thanks to Aquilla Bennett for her care and kindness.
