Floy Nell Clark, 85, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012, in Beaumont, Texas. Mrs. Clark was born June 5, 1926, in McCaskill, Arkansas, to the late William Hood and Delores Brown. Nell was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Beaumont's first female Port Commissioner, member of Knife and Fork Club, Beaumont Womans Club, Area Agency on Aging, Silver-Haired Legislature, and President of Beaumont chapter Desk and Derrick Club. She is survived by sister, Jean Hood Dowd; daughter, Leonelle Short Crow and spouse, Wendell; son, Travis Leon Short II and spouse, Christy; step- children include: Patricia Clark Peyton and spouse, Virgil, LeRoy Sherman Skip Clark Jr. and spouse, Mary, and James Russell Clark and spouse, Lisa; grandchildren, Alexa Crow Dreyer, Leah Crow Raykovich, Kari Clark Bersano, Lance Clark, and Alex, Hunter, Lillie, and Walker Clark; and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
