Frances Pavlic Funeral services for Frances Pavlic, 84, of Jasper will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, with burial to follow at Zion Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday, July 22, at the funeral home. Frances passed away on July 19, 2012 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. A native and lifelong Jasper County resident, she was a 1944 graduate of Jasper High School. A hard worker, she was the bookkeeper at First Insurance Services for over 30 years and was working there part-time at the time of her death. Frances was a member of the American Business Women's Association for over 50 years. Her nieces and nephews considered her their cool aunt with a great sense of humor. A caregiver to her family and friends, she enjoyed life and had a crush on George Strait. A fabulous cook, she was known for her banana pudding and fudge. Survivors include one brother, Carl Pavlic and wife Bertha Mae of Diboll; three nieces, Kay Pavlic of Dallas, Dianne Pavlic Theilig of Katy and Stephanie Pavlic Finley of Austin; four nephews, Willie Morgan of Lumberton, Stephen Pavlic of Lufkin, Lynn Pavlic of Diboll & Ronnie Pavlic of Hudson. She is also survived by numerous other family & friends. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Tony & Julia Pavlic; five brothers, Tony, Walter, Frank, Joe & John Pavlic; one sister, Julia Morgan; and two nieces, Katherine Morgan Hanks & Carol Pavlic Ling.
