1927 - 2015 Frank Cecil Green, 88, died Monday, December 14, 2015. He was born on March 12, 1927, in Texla, TX. A graduate of Lamar State College and Lamar University, he was an educator and coach in the Rio Grande Valley, Beaumont, and Port Neches areas for thirty-six years. He married Rita Blakeman Green in 1947 until she preceded him in death in 2007. In retirement, he spent his time with the antique community in Beaumont, Georgia, and Austin. Cecil is survived by his children and spouses, Gail and Gwyn Jones; Terry and Randy Hinson; Frank Cecil Green, Jr. and Monique Romero-Green; Cecile and Richard Hughes; and Blake and Gwen Green; brother, Tim and Lisa Green; brother-in-law, Reid and Kathy Blakeman; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; two nieces and eight grand-nieces and nephews. A gathering of Mr. Green's family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2015, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 21, 2015, at Broussard's, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
