1959 - 2014 Gene Arnold Butch Alegre, Jr., 55, of Woodville, passed away, Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Woodville, Texas. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with burial in Colmesneil Cemetery. Butch was born June 24, 1959 to Gene Arnold, Sr. & Betty Johnson Alegre in Woodville, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Tyler County and was a fiberglass fabricator for Dogwood Fiberglass. He was preceded in death by his son, Lee Alegre; and his father, Gene Arnold Alegre, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Debra Alegre of Woodville; children, Lucas Alegre & wife, Lisa of Hillister, Lyle Alegre & wife, Irene of Colmesneil, Allen Eddins & wife, Tami of Silsbee, Scott Eddins & wife, Kelly of Colmesneil, Stephanie Anthony & husband, Clint of Woodville, Bo Bendy & wife, Wendy of Colmesneil, Clay Bendy & wife, Jackie of Colmesneil and Charla Gibbs of Woodville; sisters, Bonnie Sanders of Woodville, Rita Davis & husband, Kevin of Bixby, OK, Peggy Carl & husband, Kevin of Port Neches, and Wanda Alegre of Port Neches; 25 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
