George Earl Licatino, 85, of Port Arthur passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Earl was born August 4, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas to Luke and Georgia Licatino and was a lifelong Resident of Port Arthur, Texas. Earl retired from Texaco Refinery as a Lab Technician and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking and collecting antiques. Earl was a loving, caring person and a good friend to many. Earl is preceded in death by his parents; Luke Licatino and Georgia Anselmo Licatino; brothers, Charles Licatino, Sam Licatino, Joseph Licatino and Anthony Licatino; and one sister, Mary Licatino. He is survived by nephews, Harold Licatino, Jerry Licatino, Danny Licatino and Dr. Mark A. Licatino; nieces, Mary Ann Licatino and Georgette Licatino Stepan; several great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, December 30, 2013 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 5 p.m., at Grammier- Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
