Grace A. Williams, 85, of Beaumont died Monday, February 24, 2013. She was born in Beau mont, Texas on October 2, 1927 to the late Wallace Richard and Matilda Floyd Moore. Grace was a licensed cosmetologist and Owner/Operator of Grace's Beauty Shop from 1954 to the age of 75 years old when she retired. Grace was married to the late James C. Williams. She was very active in several organizations: Beaumont Progressive Beauticians, which she was president since 2006, National Beauty Culture League, and Theta Mu Signa Sorority. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Joyce Williams and J. Carolyn Williams-Marshall and her husband, Herbert; two grandchildren, Brandon Floyd and Kimberly Ann Marshall; two sisters, Mable Albritton and Gloria Williams (Robert Sr.) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, located at 3350 Washington Blvd., with burial at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 Noon - 5:00 p.m. Friday at Mercy Funeral Home; 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. at the church on Saturday.
