1923 - 2015 Harry H. Hodge, Jr. was born April 5, 1923 in Houston, TX to Rev. Harry H. Hodge, Sr. and Adelina Brown Hodge and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sept. 25, 2015. He moved to Beaumont at the age of 9, when his father was made the pastor of Sabine Tabernacle. Mr. Hodge was a graduate of Beaumont High School and a WWII Veteran of the US. Army Air Corps. While serving his county, he flew 69 missions over enemy territory. He was a member of Sabine Tabernacle and a retired instrument supervisor with Mobil Chemical. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Brown; son, Harry Hodge III; and daughter-in-law, Kay McCullough Hodge. He is survived by his wife, Billie of 71 years; son and daughter-in-law, Craig M. and Lois Hodge; grandsons, Mark Hodge and wife, Kasey, Paul Hodge and wife, Angela; 3 great-grandsons, Connor, Logan and Jonas; sisters, Marilyn Coffey and Jo Ann Hodge; and brother, Dr. Lewis Hodge and wife, Elizabeth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28th at the Sabine Tabernacle with interment to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Those who wish may direct memorial contributions to the Salvation Army.
