Harvey Barry, 92, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, surrounded by his loved ones. Harvey was a life long resident of Beaumont. Upon graduation from high school, Harvey joined the U.S. Army, proudly serving during WW II. He later went to work as a machinist for Mobil Oil Refinery, where he later retired after 35 years. His love and memories will forever remain in the hearts of his wife of 56 years, Madie J. Barry; son, Johnny Beatty Barry (Sheila); daughters, Terri Harmison (Robert) and Jeanie Thomas; grand daughter, April Gallien; great grand daughters, Terri Gallien and Alyssa Bruno; adopted son, Julius Manus Barry; brothers, Carl Barry (Bessie) and Donald Barry (Marie); special family member and caretaker, Kenneth Smith; and a loving host of other family members and dear friends. Celebration of Life services for Harvey will be begin on Friday, April 5, 2013, at the funeral home, with a visitation from 12 noon - 5:00 p.m. Additional services will be on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 780 Porter St. in Beaumont. A Gathering of family and friends 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., Rosary 10:00 a.m., Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m., followed by the burial at Magnolia Cemetery, under the professional care and direction of Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel.
