Arredondo Helen Navarro Arredondo Helen Navarrro Arredondo, 85, of Houston, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 14, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 8, 1928, in Port Arthur, Texas to Victor and Manuela Navarro. Survivors include her children, Guadalupe Alfaro Jr., Victor Alfaro, Stella Longoria, Pete Alfaro Sr. and wife Diane, Daniel Alfaro and wife Lois, Bobby Alfaro Sr. and wife Sherry, Evon Rodriguez, Julian Alfaro and wife Sabrina, Yvette Gonzalez and husband Lolo, one special step-daughter, Tina Hensley and husband Jimmy, one special nephew Mike Ayala; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty four great- grandchildren. Survivors also include two sisters, Connie Maldonado and husband Santos, Ofelia Gonzales; two brothers Johnny Navarro, Joe Cerda and wife Diane. Her funeral service will be 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at The Cathedral in The Pines, 2050 Eastex Freeway at Delaware in Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
