Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Francis Boyd; daughters, Mary Lou Lucenti and her husband, Tony, of Beaumont and Reva Raschke and her husband, Robert, of Houston; grandson, Erick Lucenti and his wife, Codi; and great-granddaughters, Kelsay, Kayla, and Kensi, all of Houston; sister-in-law, Jeanne Huntington and her husband, Bill; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Helen is preceded in death by her parents; and six sisters. A gathering of Mrs. Boyd's family and friends will begin at 10:30 a.m., with her memorial service to follow at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013, at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 1350 North 23rd Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her committal was at Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont. Final resting place for Mrs. Boyd will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, New York, at a later date. The family would like to express their special thanks to the staff of Emeritus Dowlen Oaks Assisted Living who loved and cared for her every day; and to the staff of Altus Hospice for their gentle care during Helen's final days. The caregivers at these two facilities are true angels.
