Henry Allen Bullock, 79, of Kirbyville, Texas, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Avalon Place in Kirbyville. Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, Aug. 17, at Central Baptist Church in Kirbyville. Henry was born Nov. 10, 1932, in Milano, Texas, to Roy Lee and Mae Bullock. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and served on the Kirbyville School Board from 1976 to 1988. He retired after 33 years with E.I.DuPont Beaumont Works and was supervisor in Acrylo Production Dept. He was also a member of Central Baptist Church for 41 years and lived in Kirbyville 44 years. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ava Lee Burkhalter Bullock of Kirbyville; 2 daughters, Kathy Bruce of Kountze and Jill Ann Petty (Mike) of Abilene; 1 son, Allen Roy Bullock (Rachel) of Kountze; 1 sister, Wanda Lea Roberts (Irwin) of Tioga, LA; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Neal Henry Bullock, and a brother, H.G. Bullock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Henry to the Benevolence Fund, Central Baptist Church, P.O. Box 206, Kirbyville, TX 75956.
