1975 - 2016 James Steven Dominy, 40, of Kirbyville, Texas, died Sunday, September 4, 2016, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday September 11, at Call Junction Baptist Church in Kirbyville with burial at Baker-Bell Cemetery in Fred, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville. Steven was born September 29, 1975, in Jasper, Texas, and was a lifelong resident of Kirbyville. Steven was an engineer for BNSF Railroad. He served as a board member for the KCISD School Board for many years. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving, caring and giving man. His last gift was the gift of life through the selfless act of organ donation. With this final act of generosity, he has enabled others to live. He is preceded in death by his father, James L. Dominy. Survivors include his son, Tyson Dominy; daughters Reagan Dominy and Ramsey Dominy; mother of their children, Dolly Acree Dominy; mother Sharon Dominy; sister, Stacy Dominy; niece, Avery Greninger; and nephew, Evan Greninger, all of Kirbyville.
