Jamie Mason Davenport, 60, of Beaumont, was born May 16, 1952, and passed away at the home of her sister, after a lengthy illness on October 4, 2012. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Jamie will be held Monday, October 8, 2012, at 4:00 p.m., in the Claybar Kelley- Watkins Chapel officiated by Reverend Pat Ritchie. A eulogy will be given by Judy McManus Manuel. Following the memorial service, a reception will be held at the home of her sister, located at 4355 Thomas Lane, Beaumont, Texas. A graduate of Forest Park High School, Jamie worked as a vet technician for many years, as animals were a passion of hers. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved being outdoors. Jamie will be remembered as a very kind, loving, and easy going person. Jamie is survived by her son, Josh Lombardo and wife, Shawn of Missouri; grandchildren, Angel & Zoey Lombardo; sisters, Debby Mary and husband, Jim of Beaumont, Paula Meriwether of Beaumont; and brother, James Carey Mason and wife, Sharon of Beaumont; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and her favorite aunt, Pam Mauk and husband, Ronnie of Conroe. Jamie was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Paula Mason. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas.
