Janet Lorraine Clark, 73, of Beaumont, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014, at home with family at her side. A native of Worcester, MA, Jan moved to Beaumont with her husband, Charles H. Clark, in 2003. She was the daughter of Roland A. Pichette and Estelle E. Pichette (Laquerre) of Worcester. A graduate of Holy Name High School of Worcester, Jan also earned her Assoc. Degree in Business while working as a single mom raising three boys prior to meeting Mr. Clark. She worked in secretarial jobs throughout her career, and drove a school bus for the city of Worcester. After retiring, she enjoyed working part time at the local Walgreens here in Beaumont. Jan was a lover of the outdoors. She was an avid camper and enjoyed gardening, and dancing. Other interests of hers include sewing, knitting, crocheting, and she enjoyed toll painting and working with stained glass as well. Survivors include three sons, Eric Gonyea and his wife, Abigail, of Woodstock, CT; Jeffrey Gonyea and his wife, Melissa, of Colorado Springs, CO; and Mark and his wife, Mickey; sister, Sandra Milosh and her husband, Arthur, of Worcester, MA; brother, Ronald Pichette of Port Charlotte, FL; brother, Robert Pichette of Worcester, MA; three grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives; and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brother, Roger Pichette. We would like to acknowledge the compassionate care she received at the St. Elizabeth ICU Unit, and the Altus Hospice professionals, especially Bob, Lynne, Jennifer, Donna, Angela and Shay. A memorial service for Mrs. Clark will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
