1950 - 2014 Janet Carol Pady, age 63, of Lumberton, TX, passed away at her home on August 24, 2014. She was born to Mary Mabel Miller Flanigan and Joseph Willard Flanigan on October 30, 1950, in Beaumont, TX. She was a regular Thursday night poker player who also liked playing the slots. She adored her grandkids, nieces and nephews. Janet was happy at the beach where she enjoyed going crabbing. For many years she traveled with family, seeing the sights and always brought a lot of happiness and laughter to the group. She looked forward to staying in Fredericksburg at her favorite Bed 'n Breakfast every chance she got. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tommy Pady Sr. of Lumberton; daughter, Suzanne Buchanan and husband, Chris, of Lumberton; son, Tommy Pady Jr. of Lumberton; grandchildren, Dominic and Cainan Buchanan and Sydney Schlaht; sisters, Diane Dixon of Lake Charles, LA, Sharyn McLauchlan and husband, Mike, of Humble, and Susan Phillips and husband, Keith, of Vidor; brothers, Joseph Flanigan and wife, Vickie, of Vidor and Daniel Flanigan and wife, Mary, of Lumberton. Preceding Janet in death were her parents. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Lumberton Family Funeral Home with a wake service at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 27, 2014 at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, Lumberton, TX.Burial will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery.
