Jeannie Wahl McDonald, 79 of Llano, Texas formerly of Beaumont, Texas passed away Monday, December 17, 2012. She was born October 6, 1933 to Eva T. (Wallace) Spicer and Clyde Spicer in Marlin, Texas. Before making her way to Llano she was the co-owner of City Appliance in Beaumont, Texas. She married Perry McDonald on December 24, 1999 in Llano, Texas. Jeannie was a member of the Pittsburg Avenue Baptist Church, where she was baptized in 2002. She was also a former member of the Packsaddle Club. Survivors include her husband, Perry McDonald of Llano, Texas; daughters, Wanda Morgan and husband Keith of Sour Lake, Texas, and Barbara Russell and husband Wayne of Honey Island, Texas; sisters, Evelyn Cloud of Llano, Texas, Geneva Gill of Azle, Texas, Faye McDonald of Llano, Texas and Dorothy VanNostrand of Canyon, Lake, Texas; 7 grandchildren, Jason, Carrie, Christy, Stephanie, Jennifer, Katy and Christopher; 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leroy Wahl in 1998 and son, Bobby Wahl in 2010. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Waldrope Hatfield Hawthorne Funeral Home, Llano, Texas. Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas with Pastor Cody Morgan officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
