Jeptha Stark, 84, of Kirbyville, died Monday, March 19, 2012, at his home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, at Central Baptist Church in Kirbyville, with burial at Kirbyville Cemetery. A native of the Adsul Community in Newton County, he was a retired sales manager for Bean Motor Company in Kirbyville. He was a Merchant Marine Veteran of World War II and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Kirbyville Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his sons, Charles Stark of Kirbyville and Jeff Stark and wife, Tracy of Round Rock; daughters, Nancy Black and husband, Dr. Dennis Black of Beaumont and Linda Kay Stark of Kirbyville; a sister, Louise; and 2 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kirbyville Fire Department, 110 E. Lavielle, Kirbyville, TX 75956.
