Jimmy Wiggins, 62, of Buna passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. He was born December 25, 1949 in Silsbee, Texas. After a long battle with heart disease Jimmy left this earthly life. Jimmy graduated from Buna High School in 1969, after which he spent many years working in the field of carpentry and woodworking. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Toledo Bend Lake fishing and just relaxing. Jimmy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jimmy is survived by his high school sweetheart of 43 years, Pat Nelams Wiggins, son Jimmie Wiggins and wife Annie, son John Wiggins and wife Deanna, and he leaves behind his great joys in life, two granddaughters Rayni Wiggins and Beverly Wiggins. Jimmy is also survived by his mother Dollie Goins and step-father Truman Goins. Two brothers, Jackie Goins and wife Laura, Joey Goins and wife Janice, and his mother-in-law, Faye (Tot) Nelams. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of wonderful family and friends. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, C.C. Wiggins, and his father-in-law, Danny Nelams. Jimmy will be greatly missed. He was a good and honorable man who loved his family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.
