Joseph (Coach) (Joe) LeBlanc passed away December 2, 2012 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas. He was born in Beaumont Texas on August 1, 1943 to Alvin Sr. and Nolia Bobb Leblanc. Joe attended Our Mother Catholic School and graduated from Hebert High School Class of 1962. He attended Lamar University, where he was known as The Jet for setting many records in track and field. He taught at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School for twenty years, where he was known as Coach. While there he formed a basketball, baseball, and track team. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Leo Sr., Alvin Jr., Roberta, Patricia, and David Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories sister, Barbara Joseph (Glenn); sister-in-laws, Alice Leblanc and Margie Nell Leblanc; brother-in-law, Henry Harrison Jr, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and nephew, cousins, friends, and best friend Otis Comeaux. Services are set for Monday, December 10, 2012 under the professional care and direction of Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel. The Remembrance will be at 10:15 a.m., Rosary at 10:30 a.m., and Service at 11:00 a.m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, 3390 Sarah St., Beaumont, TX 77705.
