Kathryn Goodman Torian, loving and devoted wife and mother, went to be with the Lord, on March 25, 2012. Kathryn was born on June 6, 1931, to Ernest and Lounette (Galloway) Goodman. During Kathryn's senior year of high school, she married the love of her life, Frank Torian, on December 21, 1948, and she then graduated from Beaumont High School in 1949. Kathryn and Frank lived in Austin, while Frank attended school, and thereafter they moved and settled in Houston. Kathryn spent the majority of her life working as a homemaker and raised four children. She and Frank bowled in a league in Pasadena for many years. She spent a great amount of time volunteering at the Mother's Day Out program at Sunset Methodist Church in Pasadena. Kathryn and Frank enjoyed ten years of retirement in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, before returning back to Houston in 2003. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Frank Torian, and her parents. Survivors: One sister, Joyce Walker, and her husband, Bob, of Houston; three sons, Gary, and his wife, Alice of Olney, Texas, Jeff of Houston, Kenneth, and his wife, Mary of Houston; and one daughter, Evelyn Starkey, and her husband, Bart of Mansfield, Texas; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home on Lawndale, in Houston, on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., and visitation on Tuesday, March 27 from 6-:00 - 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would request memorials be sent to the
