Kathy Harris, 75, of Beaumont, died Friday, March 7, 2014, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont, surrounded by family. She was born on September 22, 1938, in San Antonio, to Merry Brendel Sullivan and Francis C. Sullivan, and had been a longtime resident of the area. Kathy loved music and taught piano. Her #1 priority in life was caring for her family and grandchildren, which she did selflessly. Survivors include her husband, Henry Hank Harris; daughters, Molly Raiford and Laurie Kolp and her husband, Peter, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, David Raiford II, Matthew Raiford and his wife, Jennifer, Sarah Raiford, Katie Kolp, Andrew Kolp, and Nicholas Kolp; and brother, Francis C. Sullivan, Jr. and his wife Charlotte of Richardson. A Rosary for Mrs. Harris will be recited at 6:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow, Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
