1927 - 2015 Lenora Mae Talley Siebert, 87, passed away at her residence on July 24. She is dancing with the angels! Her family & friends will gather on Saturday, Aug 15 at 12:00 noon to visit at Christian Fellowship Worship Center with a Celebration of Life memorial service to follow at 1:00 pm. She was the founder of the local Well Spouse Support Group which was active for many years. She wrote a monthly column in Real Living with Multiple Sclerosis magazine about being a caregiver for a loved one with a medical condition. She was the founding member of the Texas Gulf Coast Writers, Beaumont/Pt Arthur area. She started with several talented people, set a meeting place, provided seed money and encouraged local residents to participate and exchange their knowledge about writing with each other. She was a member of the Herb Society. Lenora was very competitive and loved to play games, especially with her close friends, Lynn Clawson & Evelyn Manning. She loved playing & winning at dominos with her family. She was an excellent cook and loved to plan holiday family meals. She loved to paint, read and travel. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 35 years, Colin Siebert; son, Jerry Leger; sister, Dorothy June Rettler; brother, Jimmy Talley; mother in law, Joan Siebert. She is survived by her daughter, Louise Leger Walden, son, James D. Leger; both of Beaumont; granddaughters, Dawn Trahan Fournier of Pt Neches, Vicki King (Duane) of Fannett, Auna Goodman (Marcus) of Haltom City, Leanne Latham of San Marcos; grandsons, Donald Dickerson (Tammy) of China, Billy Leger of Ft Worth; great grandchildren, Ashlyn (Travis), Trey (Amy), Haylee (Ryan), Jerrod, Torie, Sara, Jacob, Paige, Jonathan, Max, Hannah, Romie, Macie, Juniper, Phoenix, Chloe; great great grandchildren, Nathan, Shawnn, Paytyn, Jolivia, Addalyn, Hayes. Nieces, Linda, Toni; nephew, Ron, and her best friends, Lynn & Evelyn. A special thank you to Compassion Hospice..Jean, Trenda, Javier, Michelle and the office staff for the special care you gave us.
