Leroy Bihm, 84, of Port Neches, died Thursday, April 11, 2013. He was born on August 15, 1928, to Aline and Louis Bihm, in Church Point, Louisiana, and had been a resident of the area since 1952. Leroy worked for many years as an appraiser for automobile damage and repair, before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, traveling, listening to Cajun music, watching sports, going to church, and always looked forward to watching his grandchildren. Leroy is survived by his wife, Pearl Bihm; sons, Blake Bihm of Prairieville, Louisiana, Carl Bihm of Port Neches, and Alan Bihm and his wife, Donna, of Nederland; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Dannie Bihm; sister, Rita Bell Elkins; and daughter-in-law, Ann Bihm. A gathering of Mr. Bihm's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2013, at Broussard's, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2006 Nall Street, Port Neches, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
