On May 23, 2013 Lessie Mae Bluiett, 85 of Beaumont, TX passed away at her home with her family. She was a native of Kilgore, TX eventually making Beaumont her home where she raised her family. She retired as a seamtress from National Linen in Beaumont. Loving memories of Lessie Mae will be left to her sons, William Troy Bluiett (Sharon) and Gregory Bluiett (Tonya); brother, Arthur Greer, Jr.; sisters, Evangelist Oprah Winters, Emma Peal Morris and Jackie Bledsoe; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; loving other relatives and many friends. Celebration of Life services will begin on Friday, May 31, 2013 at the funeral home with a visitation from 12 noon - 5 p.m. Additional services will be on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Greater Grace Missionary Baptist Church (2580 E. Lucas Dr.) in Beaumont with a gathering of family and friends from 9 a.m. until the funeral at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Curtis Johnson. Lessie Mae will be placed next to her husband Elijah Bluiett at Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Magnolia Springs, TX under the professional care and direction of Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel.
