Lynn Paul Stansbury, Jr., 47, of Port Neches, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. Born April 17, 1965, in Port Arthur, to Florence Atkins and Lynn Paul Stansbury, Sr., he had been a lifelong resident of the area. Lynn was employed with Taylor's Sheet Metal. He enjoyed working with anything electronic, bar-b- queuing, cooking outdoors, and loved music. Lynn is survived by his father, Lynn Paul Stansbury, Sr. and his wife, Linda of Nederland; mother, Florence Faehl and her husband, Jack of Vidor; son, Chris Paul Stansbury of Port Neches; sister, Terri Weldon and her husband, Cliff of Beaumont; brother, Jimmy Duplantis and his wife, Angie of Nederland; two nephews; and one niece. A gathering of Mr. Stansbury's family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Broussard's, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Broussard's, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
