Beulah Mae Schouviller, 93, passed away, Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Woodville Health & Rehabilitation Center. Beulah was born May 24, 1919 to Ben Franklin Baker and Delphia Parker Baker in Kinston, North Carolina. Prior to her marriage she owned and operated her own business in Port Arthur, TX. She married Edward Nicholas Schouviller in Gulf Port, Mississippi on August 29, 1954 and they made their home in Port Arthur. They were married over 50 years. They have one daughter, Sue Ann Robinson. Beulah was a long time resident of Woodville and used her business and gardening talents to enchance the many clubs and organizations in which she was a member. In 1981, she became a member of Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church and a member of Altar Society where she served as the bereavement committee chairman plus helping wherever she was needed. She will be missed by her church family and others whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward N. Schouviller; parents, Ben & Delphia Baker; five brothers; six sisters and granddaughter, Sheila Issa. Beulah is survived by her daughter, Sue Ann Robinson & husband, R.J. of Kinston, North Carolina. Visitation and Rosary will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel followed by graveside services at Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville, TX.
