Marie Haynes Charlton, loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, went home to her Lord on Sunday, December 02, 2012. Surrounded by her loved ones, Marie was greeted by her father, James Alexander Haynes, and daughter, Annette Marie, who preceded her in death. Born on August 14, 1962 to J.A. Haynes and Alma Haynes, Marie was a graduate of South Park H. S. ('81). Marie was in numerous organizations and was always known as the life of the party. She loved her Catholic Religion and sang in the Our Mother of Mercy Gospel Choir for many years. She lived 23 years in Houston, Texas and was employed by Gordon's Jewelers for 21 years. While at Harbor Hospice and throughout her illness, she was attended by her mother, Alma Haynes, sister, Dr. Velina Haynes Johnson (Rickey), and brother, James J. Haynes (Suzette). She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Shelbi and McKenzi, her nieces, Crystal and Allison, and her nephews, Ethan (Jessica) and James IV. She will be greatly missed by numerous relatives and countless friends. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, December 15, at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, Beaumont. Visitation begins at 9:00, tribute at 10:00, followed by the Rosary at 10:30 and Christian Burial at 11:00. Calvary Mortuary is entrusted with these services.
