Marjorie Louise Johnson, 93, of Lumberton, went to be with her savior Tuesday, December 24, 2013. She was born on October 28, 1920, to Nannie Sinor Wright and Clarence Wright, in Knoxville, Tennessee, but resided in Texas most of her adult life. Survivors include her daughters, Judy Weinburger and her husband, Gary, of Porter and Jerry Henderson and her husband, Charles, of Lumberton; son, Corky Johnson and his wife, Mary, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Michael Stewart and his wife, Wendy, of Tyler; Lisa Henderson of Lumberton; Michele Stewart Tallman of Corsicana; Debbie Henderson of Austin; Mark Stewart of Austin; and Corky Johnson, Jr. of Houston; great- grandchildren, Taylor Benoit, Amanda Tallman, Jeffery Tallman, Jolie Stewart; and one great- great-grandchild, Desi Tallman. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert C. Johnson; grandson, Kevin Wayne Johnson; and sister, Helen Wright. A gathering of Mrs. Johnson's family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2013, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her graveside service will follow Friday at 3:30 p.m., at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont. She loved her family and was very much loved and will be greatly missed.
