1936 - 2016 Maxie Bo L. Riley, 79, of Woodville,Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 1 pm at The Eagle Summit in Woodville. Visitation will be Friday, June 17, 2016 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville with a Rosary at 4:30 and visitation from 5 - 9 pm. Maxie was born to Allen & Ethel Riley on July 6, 1936 in Woodville. Maxie was a retired Vietnam Veteran after serving 21 years with the US Army. He served as Tyler County Commissioner for Precinct # l for 20 years. Maxie never met a stranger- and was a loyal, genuine, and honest man. He loved his family unconditionally. He was preceded in death by his parents Allen & Ethel Riley, his son Maxie, Jr.; brothers, Howard Riley, Pat Riley, Sr. and sister, Aileen Harris. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Fanny Riley of Woodville; sons Michael Riley of Houston and Martin Riley & wife Cindi of Woodville, daughter Gina Corley & husband Keith of Montgomery, brothers James Allen Riley & wife Anna Gay of Woodville and Mike Riley & wife Pam of Woodville; sister Nell Ard & husband Marvin of Silsbee; grandchildren, Amanda Lingle & husband T.J. of Woodville, Jacquelyn Janca & husband Taylor of Montgomery, and Braeden Riley & wife Merrill of Houston, Shayna Brown & husband B.J. of Spring, Taylor Maxie Riley of Magnolia; great grandchildren, Jenner Janca, Bella Lingle, and Cooper Janca. Services under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
