Nora Dean Kilgore, 81, of Winnie, passed from this life into her rest with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, May 17, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, in Beaumont. She was born on December 28, 2013, in Saint Landry, Louisiana, to Lenora Guillauman Chitty and Ulysses Chitty. Nora Dean was a resident of Winnie for over fifty years. She was a very dedicated and faithful member of St. Louis Catholic parish and was employed by her longtime employer, Mr. Paul Keating. She is survived by daughters, Arlene Kilgore Gaspard and her husband, Roy, of Port Arthur and Charlene Kilgore Smith and husband, Earl, of Hamshire; grandchildren, Roy J. Jamie Gaspard, II; Matthew Smith; and Rebekah Smith; great- grandchildren, Kaleb, Gabriel, and Cierra; sister, Carol Land and her husband, Winston, of Lake Charles, Louisiana; brother, Larry Chitty of Holmwood, Louisiana; a host of nieces, nephews; and an abundance of very close, lifelong friends, Ramona and Raymond Martin; Neysa and Sunny Marcuntel; Mary and Jerry Yellott; and Chrystal Estes, who was a kind and very wonderful neighbor for thirty years. Nora is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Kilgore; and son, Michael Kilgore. A gathering of Mrs. Kilgore's family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2013, with a celebration of life service held at 7:00 p.m., at Broussard's, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Cremation under the direction of Broussard's. Her memorial mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at St Louis Catholic Church, 315 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
