Oliver Leon Dooley, 85, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, September 18, at Avalon Place in Kirbyville. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 21, at Bisco Cemetery in Brinkley, AR. A native of Hunnoke, AR, he was a retired sign painter and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, H.H. and Dell Viola Dooley; his wife, Evelyn Dooley; and a son, Steve Dooley. Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Scarborough of North Little Rock, AR; step children, Diane Bass of Warren, Terry Cheatham of Kirbyville, Larry Cheatham of Beaumont, and David Vaughn of Houston; brothers, Carl Dooley of Raeford, NC, Jeff Dooley of Bridgeton, NJ, and Teddy Dooley of Biscoe, AR; a sister, Peggy Jackson of North Little Rock, AR; 3 granddaughters; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
