Opal Marie Hoffman, 82, a past resident of Zavalla and Sour Lake, but currently living in Tomball, Texas, was born September 9, 1929, in San Augustine, Texas, the daughter of the late Lillie Mae (Runnels) and L. Z. Roberts. She passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012, in a Conroe Hospital. Mrs. Hoffman was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Change of Life Praise & Worship Center in Tomball. Survivors include her son, Randy Moore of Beaumont; daughters, Linda Barnhill of Conroe and Travis Hoffman of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great- grandchildren. Graveside services for Mrs. Hoffman will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012, in the Zavalla Cemetery, with Bro.
