Patricia (Pat) Evans Sculley passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday afternoon with all of her children and her sister at her bedside. It was a glorious and beautiful experience to be with her as she transitioned into her new life. Patricia, a resident of Christus St. Joseph Village in Coppell, TX, was born November 17, 1923 in Dallas, TX to Hibernia and Peter Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, George C. Sculley Jr. and sister, Helen Margaret Evans. She is survived by her son George C. Sculley III, and wife Mary, son Patrick Sculley and wife Mary, son Michael Sculley and wife Linda, daughter Mary Holleman and husband Ron, daughter Martye Simmons and husband Bart. She is also survived by her brother Peter Evans and sister Hope Verhalen and husband Peter. She is survived by 15 grandchildren Sean Sculley, Jennifer Gage, Patrick Sculley, Will Sculley, Ben Sculley, Jon Sculley, Hope Richenau, R.W. Holleman, Bill Holleman, Chad Holleman, Wendy Howe, Todd Holleman, Grant Simmons, Trent Simmons and Andrew Simmons and 23 great- grandchildren. Patricia spent her life in loving service to her husband, children and grandchildren. She taught by example how to love. And in her spare time she played bridge and rode horses. She was an accomplished horse woman who passed her love of horses to two of her granddaughters, Jennifer and Hope. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Patricia and George Sculley Scholarship c/o Lamar University Foundation, PO Box 11500, Beaumont, TX 77710. Visitation will be held at Holy Family Chapel at Christus St. Joseph Village on Friday at 6:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral to be held at Holy Family Chapel at Christus St. Joseph Village on Saturday at 11:00 am followed by burial and reception at Calvary Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
