1928 - 2016 Patricia Lee DuBose, 87 of Dallas, formerly of Beaumont, TX went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Dallas. Pat was born on July 24, 1928 in Beaumont to Teddy B. Lee and Willie Mae (Huff) Lee. She graduated with the class of 1946 at Beaumont High School, attended TWU for a year, and then returned to Beaumont and continued her studies at Lamar. Patricia was a beautiful ballet and tap dancer with the Miriam Widman School of Dancing in Beaumont. She married Edward F. DuBose in August 28, 1948 in Beaumont and made their first home in College Station while Ed finished his Civil Engineering degree at Texas A & M. Mom was a proud Aggie fan. Ed's work as an engineer afforded the family the opportunity to live in several states, Louisiana, Virginia, New Jersey and countries including Canada, Holland, Belgium and Italy. Pat's gift was in creating a home, friends and long lasting relationships in every place they lived. In 1990, Pat and Ed retired to Tyler, TX where they lived for 18 years, until moving to Dallas in 2008. Pat continued to be active at their church and walking club. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. Her survivors include her daughters Carol DuBose of Dallas, and Nancy Fay and husband Russell of Columbia City, IN. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with a Graveside Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Pat was a devoted wife and loving mom, who shared her humor and generous spirit with others. She will be greatly missed.
