1954 - 2014 Pertrilla Pat Washington Herbert, 59, of Beaumont, died Friday, September 5, 2014, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas-Beaumont. She was born on September 18, 1954, to Phyllis Christine Washington and Joe Dan Washington, Sr., in Bay City, Texas. She was a wedding planner, interior designer, and a cheerleader coach. Pat also enjoyed making flower arrangements and playing tennis. She had a creative mind, was creative, very caring, inspiring, graceful, people-person and fun loving. She was a former teacher and secretary with Beaumont Independent School District. Survivors include her husband, Albert Allen Herbert; father, Joe Dan Washington Sr., and his wife, Elizabeth, of De Soto, Texas; brothers, Joe Dan Washington, Jr. and his wife, Meadowlard, of Baltimore, Maryland; and Kenneth A. Washington and his wife, LaureanceAnn, of Spring, Texas; nephews, Kenneth Washington, Jr. and Terreance A. Washington; and nieces, Kendra A. Washington and Brandi L. Washington. She is preceded in death by her mother, Phillis Christine Washington. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Westgate Church of Christ Church, 6390 Westgate Drive, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
