Ralph Lytton Buddy Allen, Jr., 82, passed away on May 23, 2014, in Colorado. Buddy was born on October 15, 1931, to Ralph and Lucinda Allen in Port Arthur, Texas. He graduated from Vidor High School in 1949. He then enlisted in the Army, where he served as a military policeman until 1953. Buddy is survived by his wife, Bev; sister, Charlene (Alton); five sons, Dicky (Cynthia), Willy (Diana), Lindsey (Wendi), Chad (Scott), and Randy; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Services will be Monday, June 2nd, at Berean Baptist Church, 10250 North Freeway, Houston, Texas. Visitation at 12:00, service at 1:00, followed by a military service at 2:15, Houston National Cemetery.
