Ray Martin Ray Judge, 73, of Lumberton, died Thursday, November 15, 2012, in Beaumont. He was born on December 7, 1938, in Loeb, Texas, to Mary Anna Adams and Rueben Mitchell Martin. After graduating from Silsbee High School, Ray attended Chenier Business School. Afterwards he was a local gas station owner, was the first Post Master for the Lumberton post office, drove a school bus, was Justice of the Peace for twelve years, was elected County Judge for Hardin Country, owned and drove dump trucks, ran his firework stands, was a founding member of Lumberton Fire Department, and owned several pubs; Judges, King Arthur's Pub, and Squeezes. Survivors include wife, Debbie Lowe Martin; children, Randy Martin of Lumberton; Laurie Burgher and her husband, Jeff, of Coppell; and Dr. Jeff Martin of Del Rio, Texas; stepchildren; Jeremy Kotlarz and his wife, Kelly; Jason Kotlarz and his wife, Callie; and Gina Lowe; grandchildren, Ryan Martin, Michele Martin, Brandi Burgher, Annabelle Burgher, and Josh Burgher; step grandchildren, Trenton Kotlarz, Kadon Kotlarz, Zane Kotlarz, Reichen Trotter, and Zoe Kotlarz; and brother, Harold Martin and his wife, Glenna. A gathering of Mr. Martin's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2012, at Broussards, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with a fireworks display after visitation. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Parkway Life, Village Creek Parkway at Mitchell Road, Lumberton, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
