Robert J. Lovejoy It is with bittersweet emotions that we announce the passing of Robert J. Lovejoy. He died Monday, June 2after a battle with Parkinson's Disease at the age of 77. His family celebrates the life of a man who honored God in all that he did. He leaves behind his wife Deanna Lovejoy of Arlington, TX, 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great- grandchildren. His daughters include Kathy Loupe and her husband Mike of Arlington, Arron Fox and her husband Ron of Rowlett, and Judy Parker and her husband Dean of Kingwood. Grandchildren include Morgan Dell'Aquila, Connor Loupe, Caleb Fox, Abbie Parker, and Blair Parker. Great-grandchildren include Ava Dell'Aquila, Cailey Fox, and Colton Fox. He is also survived by his sister Paula Chvatal of Spring, TX. Robert was a long time resident of Port Neches and Port Arthur, TX and had retired from Texaco/Motiva after a long career. Robert touched the lives of many people over the years through church and personal ministry to those in need. He was a student of the Word, a gifted Bible teacher, and a loving family man who always had a kind word for all he met. Today, Robert stands at the throne of God in perfect health and worships his Lord and Savior. The family plans a quiet memorial gathering at a later date.
