Mrs. Sandra Woolley Holcomb, age 71, of Grapeland, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in Dallas. She was born October 18, 1940, in Houston County, Texas, and had lived in Grapeland for the past 25 years. Mrs. Holcomb was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and was a retired Para Legal. Survivors include children, Donna Gayle (Cecil) Reed and husband, Mike of Irving, Michael Allen Cecil of Lumberton, Lisa Diane Cecil of Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Joy Hodges and husband, Bobby of Crockett; brother, Eddie Woolley and wife, Kelly of Marble Falls; grandchildren, Wynn Romere, Brie Rangel and husband, Daniel, Austen Garmon, Tyler Cecil, Kelsey Cecil, Brice Trejo, Jacob Huey, and honorary grandson, Nathan Pipps. Preceded in death by husband, James Larry Holcomb. Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Woolley Holcomb will be held Sunday, August 19, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Tim Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
