Sarah Elizabeth Atnip, 37, of Fort Worth, TX, went to be with her Saviour and Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 2nd after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Fort Worth, TX on May 31st 1976 to David and Kathy Atnip. Sarah graduated from Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School in Beaumont, TX and went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Lamar University in Beaumont. Sarah's mission in life was caring for and loving her daughter Robin to the moon and back. Sarah took great pride in her work as a teacher at KinderFrogs, a laboratory school for children with Down Syndrome located on the TCU campus in Fort Worth. She also enjoyed travelling and chronicling the life of Tiny Batman. Sarah loved most anything in life but especially everything rainbow and in her spare time doted on her puppy Rosie. Sarah was blessed to have the support of so many friends and family thoughout her life, but especially over the last four years. She and the family are thankful for each and every day of this outpouring of love and support. Sarah is survived by her loving daughter Robin Dean, her parents Kathy and David, her brother Sean Atnip and his wife Brandy, and her nephew Colton and niece Avery Atnip. She was preceded in death by her sister Jennifer and brother Alexander, and her grandparents Pete and Blanche King and Lexa Ann and Raymond Atnip. In an effort to provide greater information regarding this disease, Sarah elected to donate her body to science as a means of research. Her wonderful spirit, joy, love of life and many talents will be celebrated at a memorial service on April 28th at 1:00 p.m.at St. Andrew Catholic Church located at 3312 Dryden Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76109.
